Keeping information about you securely is very important to us and certain sections of the site may encrypt data using SSL or a comparable standard. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. As a result, whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us, and you do so at your own risk.
Please be aware of our following procedures:
- All personal data is held securely on our servers.
- All PCs are only accessed by our staff who have an individual password. Our systems require this password to be alpha/numeric together with non-alpha/numeric characters; the system also requires each individual’s password to be changed on a regular basis.
- Our servers are located on site and are similarly password protected.
- We are in discussions with our software providers and have been assured that they will all be GDPR compliant by the 25 May 2018, if they are not already.
- Occasionally, data is transferred onto laptops that are taken from the office. All our laptops are encrypted and password protected.
- Similarly, we sometimes download data onto USB memory sticks; we have recently provided each member of staff with a personal, password protected and encrypted stick.
- As you would expect, our offices are locked and alarmed out of office hours.
All of our systems are constantly monitored and maintained by our company directors. They ensure our anti-virus and other similar software is up to date and
that we comply with all Cyber Essentials requirements.
